The Sentry FlightSafe® SmartCap is a purpose-built tracking and monitoring solution for cryogenic dewar shipments, integrating real-time location and sensor intelligence directly into the dewar lid, with no external probes or messy wiring. Designed for deep-frozen and pharmaceutical dry-vapour shipments, it combines high-accuracy temperature monitoring (down to -200°C) with tamper awareness and multi-sensor condition reporting. With immediate at-a-glance status via an e-paper display and seamless integration with the OnAsset Global Network, SmartCap supports confident, compliant shipment oversight in the most demanding global supply chains.
What it is
Sentry FlightSafe® SmartCap is a fully integrated “smart lid” solution for dewars, built around OnAsset’s Sentry 600 FlightSafe® technology and engineered for high-value, high-risk cryogenic and cold-chain movements. It provides continuous insight into payload temperature and shipment conditions, while adding dedicated lid-removal detection to highlight potential in-transit interference that could compromise shipment integrity. Rugged, rechargeable, and reusable, SmartCap is designed for worldwide deployment where reliability, compliance, and chain-of-custody confidence matter.
